This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit scalecms.io or request early access to ScaleCMS (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide: when you fill out our sign-up / early-access form, we collect your name, work email, company, website, role, monthly ad spend range, target markets, and any message you submit.
• Information collected automatically: limited technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use your information

• To contact you about early access and respond to your inquiry.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and our website.
• To send service-related communications (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data based on your consent (which you may withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in responding to your request and operating our business.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations, including:

• Cloudflare - website hosting, CDN, and bot/spam protection (Turnstile). Our use of Cloudflare Turnstile, including in invisible mode, is subject to Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• Web3Forms - processing of form submissions.
• Email and infrastructure providers used to contact you and operate the Service.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, security, and anonymous measurement. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage them.

To protect our forms from spam and abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (including invisible mode), which may run a verification challenge in the background. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide the Service, and meet legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@scalecms.io.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and you may request access to or deletion of your personal information.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
